CMAT’s performance at Glastonbury 2025 was pro-human, pro-connection pop fun that culminated in an emotional rendition of Stay for Something.
Earlier in her show, CMAT talked about people being horrible to her on the internet, commenting on her physical appearance.
“Which is crazy, because, as you can see”, she says, removing clothing to reveal her leotard-clad body, “I am in fact very sexy”.
Stay for Something, her final song of the set, flew high above those mean-spirited atomised keyboard-warriors.
Her performance was generous and funny, a reminder that music can connect. That humans can connect. Despite what the sociopathic tech bros might want us to believe.

Near the end of Stay for Something, CMAT runs to the audience, hugs a Britney Spears fan, then clambers over the barriers into the crowd to sing the final verses, about love and forgiveness.
